Cyanotype is an old photographic noble printing process with blue colour tones. In the two-part workshop you will learn the basics of cyanotype – not only in theory, but also in practice! In the run-up to the festival, we will send you a free package containing all the necessary materials, including the photo emulsion. In the two one-hour sessions, Essen-based artist Carina Hommel will introduce you to the technique and provide you with inspiration for your first own monochrome work with motifs from nature.

The number of participants is limited due to the shipping of work materials. Those who want to join spontaneously to familiarise themselves with the theoretical basics are nevertheless very welcome!
