Takeover VierRuhr

During our Instagram takeover at vier.ruhr, we explored the urban landscape of the Ruhr Metropolis as part of circular material cycles. From circular construction using reused materials to “urban mining” as a new source of raw materials, and HeimatERBE’s efforts to mitigate environmental damage on former industrial sites, all the way to the scientific concept of “urban metabolism”. In the end, it became clear that waste is not a dead end, but a starting point for new cycles in our cities.
